The times of painful procedures at dentist’s office or widespread tooth extraction are long gone. Modern dentistry means not only healthy teeth and oral cavity, but also an esthetic smile. Patients highly appreciate comfort ensured by painless treatment. In order to offer high-quality services, the physician needs both extensive knowledge and good diagnostics. State-of-the-art dental office equipment and safe treatment methods are also important. At our clinic, we provide our patients with all of these, delivering best possible treatment and esthetic effects. Remember, you can start dental treatment at any moment, but the earlier you visit the dentist’s office, the better treatment results we can jointly achieve.

Currently 99% of Poles are affected by dental caries.

This is the most widespread dental disease of bacterial origin. Bacteria present in our mouth turn food residues into acids that damage tooth enamel, causing loss of calcium compounds. Next, cavities form in the hard tissues of the tooth; if left untreated, this may even lead to tooth loss.

Conservative dentistry helps avoid such grim scenarios, offering prevention, treatment of dental caries and teeth restoration aimed at providing the most natural look possible in terms of shape and color. As a result, the functions of teeth are preserved along with an esthetic smile. Remember, initial carious lesions are reversible - but only with early diagnosis and proper treatment.

Have you ever looked at movie stars, admiring their smile?

Cosmetic dentistry helps correct any imperfections you may be born with. After a few procedures, your teeth may be bright, straight and perfectly shaped. Already on the first visit, you may get your teeth whitened, and after a few more appointments, quite soon your imperfect smile may turn into a spectacular movie-star smile. Cosmetic dentistry procedures involve tooth whitening, ceramic veneers (thin plates placed on teeth to change their shape or color, or to close gaps between teeth), all-ceramic crowns, onlays and inlays (porcelain dental fillings manufactured by the dentist and the dental technician).

Treating cavities with fillings manufactured in CAD/CAM technology

In our clinic, we use an intraoral scanner in the treatment of carious lesions, or cavities. The tooth is cleaned and prepared so as to restore the shape it used to have before the cavity formed. Then, a dental filling is manufactured: with the help of scan image, the physician can design the tooth’s missing part on the computer, which ensures high precision and esthetic value. The dentist can choose from extensive libraries of tooth groove shapes and cusp patterns. It is also possible to copy the shape of the patient’s dentition and to individually adjust the restoration process. The filling designed this way is milled by a machine so precisely that there is no need for bite adjustment. It does not require any further improvements after it is placed in the patient’s mouth. Teeth restored with this method do not look different from natural teeth.

If treated early enough, carious lesions are reversible. If for some reason they have not been treated at an early stage, complications may occur and endodontic (root canal) treatment may be required.

Long-lasting carious process not only destroys tooth enamel, but also causes tooth tissue alterations. Pulp altered due to inflammation should be removed from the canals in order to prevent further tooth infection. This is the goal of endodontic treatment. Sometimes it is necessary to repeat treatment, and the dentist prepares the canals and removes the bacteria again. After cleaning the canals, the dentist fills them with gutta-percha which protects the roots against infection, cutting off the way for bacteria.

Tooth canals may have highly complex anatomy, which makes effective treatment more difficult. In such a situation, it is necessary to use a dental microscope, which significantly improves the precision and quality of treatment. This does not mean that the microscope is reserved for the most difficult cases. Dentists at our clinic willingly use it in everyday work with patients.

This is a separate field of dentistry, since during the growth period, the structure of teeth and the stomatognathic system are different.

Some of the issues pediatric dentistry deals with:

  • teething and its deviations
  • treatment of primary teeth and immature permanent teeth
  • dental caries prevention
  • orthodontic prevention

Dear parents, remember, primary teeth have to be treated!

They have enormous effect on permanent teeth. A primary tooth inflammation may damage a tooth bud or a partially shaped permanent tooth, and the consequences are often irreversible.

It is recommended to bring the child to the first dental visit when no pain is present. This experience will influence the child’s attitude to treatment and to the dentist. This is a perfect moment to familiarize the little patient with the doctor and their office. As a result, the next appointment will be less stressful, and the child will associate the dentist’s office not with pain, but with pleasant, painless dental examinations and rewards for good behavior and bravery.

Regular prevention and painless minor procedures will help the child avoid unpleasant experiences in the future.
